As Director of Administration I am responsible for managing IT support along with the Technology Coordinator, building support with the Assistant Director, Administration, and to assist the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration & Strategic Partnership as needed. Some of the work I do involves technical training for staff, improve administrative processes to increase efficiency and to ensure effective resource management, serve as circulation manager for Washington Magazine, and manage Pixel (the digital asset management system), Sharebrowser (the multimedia asset management system), Common Ground (the Dynamics CRM environment), software and web service licensing, publication and web subscriptions and building projects.
When I’m away from the office my wife and I enjoy working on projects at home, going on float trips/camping, boating on the Mississippi and cooking — especially with a smoker or grill.
